We are an independent, nondenominational evangelical church.

For over 80 years, Hawthorne Gospel Church has been ministering to the Northern New Jersey community. What started out as a small Bible study in a firehouse, by God's grace, has become a ministry that touches the lives of thousands of people throughout the area.

We exist to glorify God as a caring community of believers, encouraging a lifestyle of worship, promoting the growth of Christ-like character, and reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have a Saturday evening Praise & Worship service at 5:00pm with a nursery for children up to age 2. We have three Sunday morning services - 8:30, 10:00 (contemporary) and 11:30 and an evening service at 6:00 p.m. There are children's ministry activities at all three morning services and nursery at our evening service.
